Indigenous-led Fiber & Sovereign Cloud for the North Building Canada’s digital North—together
KatloTech Fiber Inc.
A 288‑strand, low‑loss, open‑access fiber backbone between High Level, Alberta and K’atl’odeeche First Nation / Hay River, NT. Designed to unlock competition, redundancy, and fair pricing across Northern corridors.
IceFox Data Center REIT
A hydro‑powered, cold‑climate, modular data center campus on Treaty 8 land, launching in 2027. Built for AI, cloud, and mission‑critical workloads with strong data sovereignty and Indigenous governance.
KatloTech Video
Local offline streaming for hotels, communities, and camps—no internet required. Deliver movies, training, and local content directly over local Wi‑Fi.
Why KatloTech?
KatloTech Communications exists to close the digital divide in the North on Indigenous terms. We combine practical IT services with long‑term infrastructure projects so that communities, governments, and partners can own and govern critical digital infrastructure instead of relying only on distant monopolies.
Three key points:
- Indigenous‑Owned & Treaty‑Anchored
Our projects are grounded in Treaty 8 and Indigenous governance, aligned with OCAP® and data sovereignty principles. - Built for Northern Reality
Fiber, data centers, and services engineered for wildfire risk, permafrost, remote logistics, and critical public services. - Open‑Access & Partner‑Friendly
We enable carriers, ISPs, and community networks through wholesale fiber, colocation, and modular capacity—rather than competing with them for retail customers.
